Survivor Stories / Tributes

Debbie Miranda

Personal Description:

Dedication:

Debbie always had a smile and a story to share with everyone—at least one story. Yet, she always took the time to listen if you needed a friend. We will miss her easy laughter, her kindness and compassion for others.

Personal Description:

This week were were deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend Debbie Miranda. On Monday, March 16, she lost her four-year battle with ovarian cancer, a battle she fought with courage and grace.

Debbie worked with us at Rick’s Music for twenty years, during which time we all grew to love her. That didn’t take long, because Deb always had a smile and a story to share with everyone—at least one story. Yet, she always took the time to listen if you needed a friend. We will miss her easy laughter, her kindness and compassion for others.

If you take a few minutes to read the survivor stories on OCRF.org, you will notice that they are all too few. As you read the tributes to those claimed by this disease, you will understand how great is our loss of so many beautiful women.

Please join with us and make a donation to OCRF to help fund research to find a cure. We chose this charitable organization because it received an excellent efficiency rating on http://www.charitynavigator.org/ You can donate with confidence that they will maximize your donation dollar. With your help, we can erase this terrible disease from the face of the earth.
Signed,
Rick & Robin Santos and staff of Rick’s Music World

Comments:

It’s hard to believe that Debbie has passed on. She was such a kind spirit and loving soul with a smile that could light up a room. She also had an inner strength and wisdom that were clearly evident as she faced her illness with courage and grace. We will love and remember her always.

Those who inspire most deelpy tend to be the people who lead by example.a0 Rachel from A Southern Fairy Tale does just that.a0 She is dedicating her blog to fighting breast cancer for the entire month of October.a0 As is typical of Rachel’s sweet nature and wit, she is calling it Blogging for Boobs.
