Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) and the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance (OCNA) have led the way in advocacy, research and support for patients and their families for over 22 years. As of January 2016, we are pleased to announce we are joining together to form Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance (OCRFA), the largest global organization dedicated to advancing ovarian cancer research while supporting women and their families. Harriet Dappen

Personal Description:


This tribute is dedicated to our wonderful mother, Harriet Dappen who died February 1st, 2010 from ovarian cancer. She fought the battle with courage and dignity for two and a half years. She was a true warrior and never let cancer get in her way of accomplishing all she wanted to do.

Personal Description:

Harriet was a lively and energetic woman who loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and friends. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, square dancing, sewing, and reading. She was active in many organizations. She spent her winters in Texas but enjoyed spending time at home in South Dakota where she would put a pot of coffee on and invite friends over for a homemade treat.
