Hi, what a relief to reliase my recovery pains are normal. I had a total hysterectomy 2 weeks ago. I have an infection in the wound but am on antibiotics and it seems to be healing. I’m up and about and able to walk about but as the wound is midline (up and down stomach) I’m finding I can’t do certain things without causing me pain such as lifting my arms above my head when washing my hair??? I did have help when I returned home from hospital from my husband but he has now returned to work. I can make a cup of tea, simple meals, wash and dry up basic things but cannot lift heavy dishes, pans etc. I suppose its working out your limits and gradually building up.I wondered if anyone has the same problem as me which is my wound is leaking its a clear yellowy liquid and I’ve been assured its ok but its a lot and I have to use pads to soak it up.Best wishesAlyxI haven’t had much information only what I’ve been able to ask
