As of January 2016, we are pleased to announce we are joining together to form Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance (OCRFA), the largest global organization dedicated to advancing ovarian cancer research while supporting women and their families. Our mother passed away on the morning of Friday, December 16, 2011 after a 3.5 year battle with ovarian cancer and other complications originating from the illness. Her smile, laughter and kindness will always be remembered. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Personal Description:

Lydia Estrada (nee Domingo), 65, passed away on Friday December 16, 2011 at Clara Maass Medical in Belleville.

Born in the Philippines, she lived in Bloomfield for the last 21 years.

Lydia was a registered nurse at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville.

She was the wife of Rafael G. Estrada for 37 years. Mother of Gerald and his wife Jill, Jason and his wife Eddielyn and Kenneth and his wife Charo. sister of Manuel Domingo. Also survived by 4 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
