Dawn Marie Johnson was a truly loving and compassionate Wife, Daughter, Mother, and Grandma. She lived a beautiful life through our Lord. Our family takes comfort in knowing that she suffers no longer and is now in the arms of her savior. And we all know that someday we’ll see her again.

Dawn leaves behind a truly precious collection of memories filled with laughter, love, hugs, kisses, and loving smiles that we all will remember.

Personal Description:

Dawn M. Johnson, 54, of Seville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at Hospice of Medina County after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

She was born Nov. 25, 1956, and was a lifelong resident of the area. Dawn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was loved and will be missed by her family, friends and Christian family. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and was known for her many talents in sewing, knitting and many other hobbies.

Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Russell S. Johnson; sons, Jeremiah (Kathie) Johnson, Joshua (Diane) Johnson of West Salem, Jarod (Allie) Johnson of Rittman and a daughter, Meghan of the home; grandchildren, Jeremiah Jr., Michaela, Kate, Evan, Cameron Johnson and MacGuire Swiat; her father, Vernon (Marlene) Berger of Creston; brothers, Doug (Karen) Berger of Pennsylvania and Darrell (Lorie) Berger of Rittman; her mother- and father-in-law, Frank (Martha) Johnson of Seville; and brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lola Berger.
