Patricia Hipp Ganiere

Personal Description:

Pat, my stepmother, died from ovarian cancer on April 9, 2010. She ended a 3 year battle with this disease and was on home hospice the last week of her life with her family at her bedside.

Personal Description:

Pat was a caring, spiritual, and elegant woman. I didn’t always call her stepmother because of the situation involving the divorce of my parents. I also lived in Colorado and she and dad lived in Wisconsin so I didn’t form a bond with her as much as I would have liked to. When my father died I was with Pat taking care of him when he was on home hospice.
This experience formed a bond between Pat and I because we both loved dad and we cared for him in his last moments on this earth. I was blessed to finally know the special person Pat was.
I loved her and I will miss her. She knew that and it comforts me that she is now at peace with the Lord.

I was extremely upset on learning of your stepmothers death. She was a very dear friend of mine. I hope you dont mind me writing a note here, but I wasnt sure how to get ahold of anyone. I just learned of her death, we worked at at&t together and became very close. I needed to send on my condolences to her children, I know how much they meant to her. There will never be another Pat, I loved her dearly and I know she cared for me also. AT&T sent me to Eau Claire and we lost touch for a time, last time was two yrs ago when she attended my sons wedding, I had hoped she was gonna beat the cancer. I wont go on and on, just Please pass on how sorry I am on their , and your loss. Claire Castronovo
