Patsy Rogers

Personal Description:

On July 8th 2009, Patsy Rogers passed away after a 5.5 yr. battle with Ovarian Cancer. Patsy had a great sense of strength, loved life and was known as the lady with the beautiful smile. Her caring personality showed her love for God, Mary, and the Catholic church. Many people (especially at St. Joseph’s Village in Coppell, TX) throughout her battle were inspired by her strong positive attitude and constant smile. Many people were surprised at her passing to know of the length of her struggle. Even through her battle she took great care of her loving husband of 61 years, Jim, who misses her dearly. She always thought of others before her self, even towards the end of her beautiful life.

Personal Description:

Patsy was a very family oriented woman, survived by her husband of 61 years, Jim, her three children, Mona, Stephen, and Lisa. She also has 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren who she loved very dearly. Her famous brownies were always a hit with her children and grandchildren. She was thrilled to have had time with her first great grandchildren, James and Charlie. Her friends at St. Joseph’s Village were like extended family and she loved and enjoyed them dearly as they brought her communion daily and visited her often. Her surgery and continuous chemotherapy could not get the smile off her face or prevent her from living life. Some described her as the toughest person they have ever seen. Pain was not a word in her dictionary. To many she would be described as a kind, loving, caring and giving person, who spent many of her years working with the St. Vincent De Paul Society and as a mass coordinator for her church. Patsy and Jim were often called the perfect couple. In recent years, he developed sight problems and she developed hearing problems. Together, they made quite a good team and often even matched clothes everywhere they went. We will all miss her greatly, but take comfort that some day, we will be with her again. Patsy and her family hope you’ll join us in supporting this great fund.

One thing is the fact that one of the most frequent enecntivis for making use of your credit cards is a cash-back or perhaps rebate offer. Generally, you get 1-5% back in various acquisitions. Depending on the cards, you may get 1% returning on most expenditures, and 5% again on acquisitions made in convenience stores, gasoline stations, grocery stores along with member merchants’.
