Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) and the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance (OCNA) have led the way in advocacy, research and support for patients and their families for over 22 years. As of January 2016, we are pleased to announce we are joining together to form Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance (OCRFA), the largest global organization dedicated to advancing ovarian cancer research while supporting women and their families. Personal Description:


In loving memory of ‘Simple the Best Mother’, Shirley R. Price, who lost her battle with ovarian cancer on October 19, 2008. She was diagnosed with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer three years ago. Her determination, strength, and sense of humor through it all inspires me to always remember what is important in life. I will miss her so much!

Through this organization (The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund) as well as many others; we can make a difference in finding a cure for this silent killer ovarian cancer.

Well, I don’t think that’s something she can turn off, which shuoldn’t be a problem as long as she doesn’t let it interfere with her job, and as long as she understands (and tells others) that class divisions are just as real as racial ones.
