On August 1, 2009, Ovarian Cancer Research Fund's 12th annual Super Saturday took place at Nova's Ark Project in Water Mill. Hosted again by Donna Karan, Ariel Foxman, InStyle, along with Kelly Ripa and Blake Lively Super Saturday 12 featured its famous one-of-a-kind designer garage sale, kids'carnival, gourmet dining and exciting activities galore.
We are pleased to report that Super Saturday 12 raised nearly $3.4 million. This money will be used to support the mission of OCRF which is the formulation of early diagnostic treatment programs and research towards the ultimate conquest of ovarian cancer. Through scientific breakthroughs, we are brightening the future for all women and their families by improving lives of patients with ovarian cancer and one day, eliminating the threat of this terrible disease.
