As the President of the Board of Directors of the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund I want to welcome you to our website.
If you are visiting for the first time and just learning about our work, the mission of OCRF is very straightforward: to fund research to find a method of early detection and ultimately a cure for ovarian cancer.
Each year, with the funds we raise through Super Saturday, our events and supporters, we fund research through four different grants programs. Grant applications are reviewed and selections are made by our Scientific Advisory Board, comprised of eleven of the leading gynecological oncologists in the United States.
The Board of Directors and our dedicated staff work diligently to educate women about ovarian cancer. We understand it is through educating a woman about ovarian cancer that we can make a difference in the lives of thousands of women who may be at risk. With each new research grant we award, we are one step closer to finding a breakthrough.
We continue to depend on you to help us fund the most promising work that is being done in the area of ovarian cancer. Our educational programs would not be possible without the dedication and compassion of our friends.
